Shute Harbour Marine Terminal is perfectly placed in a beautiful natural harbour only 15 minutes from Airlie Beach.
A recreational fishing pontoon is available to the public and accessible from the carpark. The Department of Transport and Main Roads owned public boat ramp is also accessible from the carpark. Any queries about the boat ramp design and construction should be directed to Maritime Safety and Queensland.
While you’re at the Harbour, make sure you check out Lion’s Lookout and picnic area from the upper carpark for spectacular island views, or nearby Snows Beach for a BBQ in the recreation and beach area.
Multiple Conway National Park bush walks depart around the area such as the Coral Beach and Mount Rooper/Swamp Bay walks, offering breathtaking views of Whitsunday passage and surrounding islands.
